On Trend: Textured Florals
The floral trend is certainly here to stay, and this season we saw many iterations of the pretty pattern taking on an even more pronounced form by way of ultra textured finishes and bold embellishments.
Dries van Noten worked the textured floral in intricate, rose-adorned midi skirts and spring jackets.
Chloé debuted a super-cute floral detailing across chic separates. We’re loving that divine mustard trouser with floral appliqué accents down one pant leg.
Karl Lagerfeld brought his simple flower prints to life via intricate beading in rich, vivid hues at Chanel.
Phillip Lim brought the textured floral together with another key trend for summer 2013 – sheer everything.
Bottega Veneta brought the romance with floral lace frocks with gorgeously feminine detailing.
There was a folky-feminine vibe at Dolce & Gabbana, who worked pops of vivid textured florals on tunics and boho fused swing dresses.
