Aussie native Kym Ellery’s keen eye for detail and striking sartorial sensibilities have earned her a global reputation as both a leading fashion designer and a personal style icon.
After studying Fashion Design and Production in her hometown of Perth, the young talent travelled to London to study Fashion Illustration at the prestigious Central St Martins. Her studies were cut short, however, when a job offer at cult favourite RUSSH Magazine brought her back to Sydney.
Kym has since worked alongside Australia’s most creative-minded stylists, journalists and photographers, launching her own eponymous label ELLERY in 2007.
ELLERY instantly carved itself out as one of Australia’s most coveted independent fashion labels, garnering critical acclaim and a worldwide following of the fashion forward.
Kym’s keen eye and avant-garde inspiration is reflected in her personal style. She favours strong silhouettes and juxtapositions of soft texture with hard detailing for a sophisticated yet unmistakably sexy aesthetic.
