A laminated, waxy finish for leather-like fabrics stood out on the runways this season in the form of out-there outerwear, slinky separates and statement accessories.

Figure hugging dresses at Jil Sander made for some seriously sexy silhouettes.
There were shiny fabrics in petrol black at bottle green Fendi.
Acne rocked the waxy trend in sexy skin-tight bottoms, matrix style coats and oversized waist belts.
It was head-to-toe wax at J.W. Anderson… (we’re hoping those shiny suits don’t chafe!)
Marni offered up a series of laminated, velvet collared coats and vests.
We’re not entirely sure how wearable the waxy fabric trend may be day to day, but it certainly makes for some standout looks!
