Ready to wear? Perhaps not… while these weird, wacky and wonderful collections may not make it to your autumn/winter wish list, we have to give their designers full marks for serious sartorial creativity.
Fall at Thom Browne unfolded a eulogy scene where 10 coffins containing the bodies of ‘beautiful girls who died for fashion’ lined the sides of the runway. Models floated through the dimly lit room in Browne’s layered, folded, draped and parachuted creations. Macabre much?
