Model Watch: Amanda Ware
Australia’s Next Top Model 2010 winner Amanda Ware has proven she’s a face to watch after she booked a solid showlist at last month’s New York and London Fashion Weeks. For her runway debut at New York Fashion Week Fall 2011, Amanda walked for a total of six shows that included Phillip Lim, Chado Ralph Rucci and L’Wren Scott.
In London, she was seen strutting for Pringle of Scotland, Nicole Farhi, Marios Schwab, Antonio Berardi, Clements Ribeiro and Luis Buchinho.
The twenty-year old also participated in walk coaching and “practice” photo-shoots whilst over in New York and evidently impressed Elite Model Management, who signed her up to a three year contract.
Back in June, ChapStick Australia announced Amanda as its newest ambassador. The rising star has also scored her second cover for The Australian’s luxury-brands magazine Wish, alongside Jordan Coulter (another name to watch).
Here’s to a home-grown glamazon finding her place in the competitive high-end modelling industry!
