Blake Lively Reportedly the New Face of Chanel
Recent reports indicate that Gossip Girl star and red carpet favourite Blake Lively has landed one of the most coveted gigs in the fashion world – becoming the new face of French fashion powerhouse, Chanel.
While Chanel is yet to confirm the rumours, E! Online reports that Blake has just returned from the Paris shoot of the French label’s new handbag collection.
In recent years, Lively has become the darling of the fashion world. Regularly spotted wearing haute couture gowns from Chanel and numerous other designers at A-list events, she’s also known for her close friendships with the likes of Karl Lagerfield, Anna Wintour and Christian Louboutin.
Blake’s campaign is rumoured to be out around the same time as Leighton Meester, who is the face of Vera Wang’s new perfume!
It certainly pays to be a star of Gossip Girl and we’re certain we’ll be seeing more designer clothing in future episodes.
